Students in the Biology program at EGSC can perform a research project with a Biology Faculty. In 2019, EGSC was awarded a STEM grant from the University System of Georgia to increase undergraduate research.
EGSC has collaborations with the Emanuel Medical Center, Swainsboro Hospital, and Altamaha Riverkeeper Organization.These internships provide a high-quality, professional experience to EGSC students interested in becoming medical doctors and veterinarians.
Biology Honor Society:
Tau Tau Epsilon is the local Chapter of the Beta Beta Beta Biology Honor Society. The Chapter was installed in 2017.
The EGSC Study Abroad program provides the College community with safe, affordable, opportunities to do academic work while traveling abroad.
EGSC has several STEM related student club: Chess, Earth, Pre-professional, and STEMM.
American Male Initiative (AAMI):
The mission of the EGSC's AAMI is to help African-American males successfully navigate college.
