New Students are required to:
  • Complete the EGSC Application for Admission
  • Pay the $20 Non-Refundable application fee (or submit Fee Waiver from HS Counselor)
  • Submit Official High School Transcript, including Senior Schedule OR Submit GED scores (Scores must include all sections with a passing date)
    We receive transcripts electronically via GAfutures, Parchment, Clearinghouse, Scribd, or other approved services
    Final transcripts MUST include a graduation date to be considered official
  • Submit Official College Transcripts from ANY and ALL colleges attended (Transcripts will be deemed unofficial if any "In Progress" courses are listed or if sent via FAX)
    We receive transcripts electronically via Parchment, Clearinghouse, Docufide and other approved services
  • Submit Official Technical schools from ANY and ALL colleges attended (Transcripts will be deemed unofficial if any "In Progress" courses are listed or if sent via FAX)
  • Submit Immunization Records signed by a doctor or healthcare professional.
  • ​Provide Verification of Lawful Presence in the United States to qualify for in-state tuition classification.
  • Submit any SAT or ACT test scores via College Board or ACT directly by using the codes shown below.

    Any student with SAT scores must submit an official test score report with all test scores
Take the Placement Exam (optional)
  • SAT/ACT scores are not required; however, you may exempt the one hour lab support course if you have completed the 17 RHSC (Required High School Curriculum) units in High School and also have the following scores:  new SAT - 480 Reading, 440 Math or old SAT - 430 Critical Reading, 470 Math or  ACT 17 English, 20 Math
Former/Returning Students are required to:
  • Submit an EGSC Application for Re-Admission
  • Submit Official College Transcripts from ANY and ALL colleges attended after attending EGSC (Transcripts will be deemed unofficial if any "In Progress" courses are listed or if sent via FAX)
    We receive transcripts electronically via Parchment, Clearinghouse, Docufide, and other approved  services
  • Submit Official Technical schools from ANY and ALL colleges attended  after attending EGSC (Transcripts will be deemed unofficial if any "In Progress" courses are listed or if sent via FAX)
    We receive transcripts electronically via Parchment, Clearinghouse, Docufide, and other approved  services
  • Submit Updated Immunization Records signed by a doctor or healthcare professional.
  • ​Provide Updated Verification of Lawful Presence in the United States to qualify for in-state tuition classification.
Transient Students are required to:
  • Submit an EGSC Application for Admission
  • Submit Letter of Transient permission from home institution
  • Submit Immunization Records from home institution.
  • ​Provide Updated Verification of Lawful Presence in the United States to qualify for in-state tuition classification.
Apply for Financial Aid
  • If you are interested in receiving Financial Aid (Pell Grant, Federal Student Loans, etc.), HOPE or Zell Miller scholarship, please complete the current year Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and add EGSC’s school code (010997) so that our Financial Aid office may receive your information. Please be aware it can take from 5 to 7 days upon receipt to begin processing your information. Please note that ALL required documentation must be submitted before Financial Aid can be awarded.
If you are planning on attending EGSC-Statesboro

In addition to the application to EGSC, students must also complete an online application (as a Transient student) and pay the $30 Non-Refundable application fee to Georgia Southern University. This is to ensure that the student is entered into GSU's system to receive access to the services they are paying for (Food Services, Transportation, Health Services, RAC access, etc.). Students will also be able to obtain an EagleID card and meal plan via GSU but not until after the student has been through P.A.W.S. Orientation and received a schedule and EGSC student CatCard. This application is informational only and student will not receive information from GSU regarding admission.
