Online Orientation Program

If you are a Freshman, Dual Enrolled, or Transfer student new to East Georgia State College, you must participate in a mandatory online orientation to get important information that will help you succeed here at EGSC. This online pre-orientation must be completed in order to register for classes. The online orientation provides students with information about the many resources available at EGSC. Students will learn about student services, online courses, EGSC policies, and other student support programs.

You must review all of the modules and complete the pre-Registration survey. Average time for completion is about 1 hour and 30 minutes. At the end of the modules, you will be directed to submit the pre-Registration survey. Once the form has been submitted, your Orientation hold will be removed and you will be allowed to register for classes at Orientation.

  • Create an account
  • Review the Online Orientation modules
  • Submit the pre-Registration survey (New student registration occurs each and every Tuesday and Thursday)

ONLINE Only Students

Students taking only online courses are required to watch the online pre-orientation presentation AND submit the completion form. Once the completion form has been submitted, your Orientation hold will be removed and you will be allowed to register for classes. You will then need to contact the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) to set up your advisement and registration. For students accepted into the RN-BSN Bridge Progam, contact Dr. Linda Upchurch for advisement and for FESA applicants, please contact Beverly Walker.

Transients and Former Students

Transients, Former Students, Post-Bacc, and Non-Degree seeking students are not required to attend Orientation but are strongly encouraged to complete the online orientation modules. Reviewing the information will acclimate you to any information that may have changed or may be different from your previous institution.

Dual Enrollment students will need to select an additional presentation to review below:
