East Georgia State College would like to announce that we are accepting applications for the position of Assistant Softball Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the head coach in all aspects of planning, managing and directing a successful NJCAA program including but not limited to: game coaching, practice preparation, recruiting, event management, academic monitoring, public relations, fund raising, promotions and scheduling. This position has the responsibility to carry out duties in a manner which enhances the learning environment and communicates that message to the students daily.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. One to two years of softball experience is required. Some college is preferred. The position requires specific hours of availability.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a part-time non-benefited position on a contractual basis.
Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a Criminal Background Investigation, Credit History, and Motor Vehicle Record Check.
