Counseling Services - Crisis Intervention Resources

If you are in an immediate life threatening crisis, DO NOT attempt to contact us via email or voicemail. During normal business hours (M-F, 8:00-5:00), call the EGSC Counseling Center office nearest you.  If you cannot reach a counselor or our office is closed, call EGSC Police Department, or dial 911.

About Crisis Intervention:

Sometimes student experience acute crisis situations such as a traumatic experience or suicidal thoughts.  Crisis intervention is a service for students who are in serious, immediate emotional distress. If you find yourself, or a friend, in an emergency situation during normal business hours, please contact the counselor in the office nearest you.  You can call or walk-in and let the counselor know you are in a crisis situation.  If you cannot reach a counselor, please contact the EGSC Police Department or call 911.  If our offices are closed or it is after hours, you may also utilize the following resources in addition to the EGSC Police Department:
