While the College will make every effort to provide a room assignment if possible, housing is not guaranteed. We encourage students to apply for housing as soon as they choose EGSC. You do not have to be admitted in order to apply for housing.
East Georgia State College broke ground on a 200 bed, state-of-the-art housing complex on August 12, 2010 on the Swainsboro campus. This complex is the first on-campus student housing in East Georgia's history and the only on-campus housing that EGSC currently offers.
Each apartment has four private bedrooms, two bathrooms and a furnished living room and kitchen.
The building has a laundry area, study space, a computer lab, a balcony and an outdoor recreation area.
Price, per person, is $2812 per semester (Fall 2015 and Spring 2016), and includes all furniture, utilities, wireless internet, cable television in the living room, 24/7 security, mail service and access to the Clubhouse with a fitness center, a game room, study rooms and a computer lab.
Students who live on campus have a meal plan that is $1041 per semester (Fall 2014 and Spring 2015). This plan includes lunch and dinner Monday-Thursday and gives the student $145 flex dollars that may be used in the cafeteria, at the cafe' or in the coffee shop on campus.
SUMMER 2015: Prices for summer depend on the time period you will be taking courses. May Only: $415; May plus Full Summer: $1315; Full Summer: $1100; Session II or III: $570
SUMMER 2015 Meal Plan: Students may choose $0, $250 or $500 flex spending meal plans for summer. The cafeteria will not be open, but the flex dollars can be spent at the College Cafe' or Common Grounds coffee shop.
