We welcome students who have decided to return to East Georgia State College and we hope to make the re-application process as easy as possible.
A former EGSC student is an individual who previously attended and received grades (including W’s) from our institution. Students who have not attended for two or more consecutive semesters are required to complete a Former Student Application form and submit it to the Office of the Registrar for processing no less than four weeks prior to the start of a semester in order to have their record updated. Processing of the application must be completed prior the student’s registration date.
Complete a Former Student Application via GAfutures at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the semester (sufficient amount of time must be allotted for students who stopped attending with outstanding Learning Support requirements who may be required to retake the entrance exam to determine eligibility to return to EGSC.)
- Students must provide official transcripts from any and all colleges and technical institutions attended since leaving EGSC.
Satisfy any holds that would prevent registration (i.e. outstanding fees, unpaid fines, missing documents)
- Applicants seeking Financial Aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form for financial aid consideration. Please see the Priority Deadlines listed on the Financial Aid website. Please be sure to list East Georgia State College on the application (Federal School Code: 010997).
Returning students need to schedule an appointment with their academic advisor before registering for classes to determine what subjects they will need that lead to fulfill degree requirements.
Student with Learning Support requirements must retest to determine eligibility for readmission.
