Approved by Library Committee 2/8/20
Adopted by President’s Cabinet 5/26/20

Library users are required to set cellular devices to silent or vibrate mode before entering the library. Cell phone/video chats and lengthy conversations must be taken outside.

Please observe the following:

    • No cell/video conversations are allowed in the designated quiet zone (i.e. back portion of the library).
    • Short conversations may be permitted at a reasonable volume near the front desk area and entrance area to the library. No video chat or speaker phone calls.
    • Headphones/earbuds must be used when audio is running on all electronic devices (i.e. phones, tablets, laptops, library computers, etc.). Please be aware of your volume. If people can hear audio from your audio equipment, then it is too loud.

A charging station is available in the library for your use. However, you are responsible for monitoring your device. The library is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
