East Georgia State College offers long-term and short term disability insurance protection plan to regular eligible employees who are employed on a three quarter time (30 hours) or more basis. This insurance provides a monthly income in the event of disability while employed at the college. This is a voluntary program with all premium costs paid by the employee. An employee approved for short term or long term disability benefits cannot use sick or annual leave while also receiving disability benefits.
