The first session of the 2022 Total Wellness Series was held Tuesday, March 15, at noon, at the Sudie A. Fulford Community Learning Center on the campus of East Georgia State College. The series is designed to educate participants on several important topics while empowering them to make informed decisions for their future. The first session was hosted by Queensborough National Bank and Trust Company.
The speaker for the session was Henry Leverett, the At Work Banking Manager and Certified Financial Education Instructor for Queensborough National Bank and Trust Company. Leverett spoke to the group about ID theft, online scams, and banking scams. He also gave participants a handout that gave helpful tips for protecting people from scams.
The session was FREE and was made possible through a partnership with East Georgia Healthcare Center, East Georgia State College, Emanuel Medical Center, Queensborough National Bank and Trust Company, and CarePartners. There is no cost to participate, and enrollment is limited to 20 people. The session featured lunch, a presentation, handouts, and door prizes which were provided by Queensborough National Bank and Trust Company.
The next Total Wellness Session will be held May 10 at noon. Pre-registration is required and may be made with Harley Smith at the Fulford Center at (478) 289-2464 or by email hdsmithFREEOMNIUPDATE.
The Fulford Center would like to thank Vicki Anderson, Henry Leverett, and Queensborough National Bank and Trust Company for hosting the first session of the year!
