The East Georgia State College (EGSC) Women’s Basketball Team has been named in the Top 25 National Junior College Athletic Association’s (NJCAA) Division One Women's Basketball Rankings. The Lady Bobcats are ranked 24th in the country with a 17-4 record.
“It has been an honor to coach this talented and determined group of young ladies this year. The leadership from our sophomores has set the tone for our season. Zuriyah Davis and Torrion Starks are the top two scorers in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) and LaQuan Coe is the best defender in the conference. The team has worked hard to reach this goal. It’s great to see the hard work displayed by our student-athletes and coaches manifest on the court,” stated Theo Howard, EGSC Head Women’s Basketball Coach and Interim Athletics Director.
