During their fall scrimmage season, the team has won 13 scrimmages to just four defeats. The Bobcats added to their scrimmage victories on Friday, October 14 at home against Brewton Parker College. The team defeated Brewton Parker College by scores of 8 to 0 and 9 to 1.
Head Softball Coach Chuck Wimberly stated after the wins over Canada, "we simply hit the ball really well in game one scoring 13 runs, but we were pushed by the Canada Team in game two as we fell behind early and had to come back to win 8 to 5 in the late innings. I was really proud of the way we responded to trailing and continued to stay the course and come from behind to win in the late innings. That shows the true character of a team as to how they respond during times of adversity, and we did just that."
