About Crisis Intervention

Crisis intervention is a service for students who are in serious, immediate emotional distress. If you find yourself, or a friend, in an emergency situation, please contact 911 then the counselor in the office nearest you. You can call or walk-in and let the counselor know you are in a crisis situation. If you cannot reach a counselor, please contact the EGSC Police Department or call 9-1-1.  If our offices are closed or it is after hours, you may also utilize the following resources in addition to the EGSC Police Department or click on the "Crisis Intervention Resources" heading on the menu to the right of the page:
