Non-degree seeking students are generally non-traditional students who are seeking to further their education but are not seeking to complete a degree. These options are designed to accommodate a small number of students with very specific academic goals, to pursue some special interest, or for self-enrichment and do not wish to work toward a degree.
Admissions Steps
- Apply online: Complete the admissions application.
- Submit your high school and/or college transcripts: East Georgia accepts transcripts through electronic transcript services such as Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, GA Futures, etc. Please do not fax or email transcripts. If not sent electronically, high school transcripts may be mailed or submitted in person. They will be considered official as long as they remain in the original, sealed envelope from the school. If not sent electronically, college transcripts must be mailed directly from the institution. They will not be considered official if submitted directly from the student. To order transcripts, refer to the Registrar’s website at your previous institution.
- Verification of lawful presence: If you want to be considered for in-state tuition or receive financial aid, please submit your verification of lawful presence.
- Check your application status: This status will reflect information we have in our records. You will be able to learn of your admissions decision as soon as it is made without having to wait for an official email or admissions letter.
