You Should Apply as a Transfer Student If:

- You've earned at least 30 credit hours of college courses after high school that transfers to EGSC.
- You have not earned a bachelor's degree or you are pursuing a second bachelor's degree.
Have You Earned Less Than 30 Transferable Credit Hours?

- If you graduated from high school less than five years before the semester you want to enroll, you must meet the new freshman admissions requirements, in addition to transfer admissions requirements.
- If you graduated from high school more than five years before the semester you want to enroll, apply as a non-traditional adult student.
Admissions Steps
- Apply Online: Complete the admissions application.
- Submit your college transcripts: East Georgia accepts transcripts through electronic transcript services such as Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, GA Futures, etc. Please do not fax or email transcripts. If not sent electronically, college transcripts must be mailed directly from the institution. They will not be considered official if submitted directly from the student. To order transcripts, refer to the Registrar’s website at your previous institution.
- Submit your high school transcript (if applicable): East Georgia accepts transcripts through electronic transcript services such as GA Futures, Parchment, or Scoir. Please do not fax or email transcripts. You may mail your transcripts or drop them off in person. They will be considered official as long as they remain in the original, sealed envelope from the school.
- Verification of lawful presence: If you want to be considered for in-state tuition or receive financial aid, please submit your verification of lawful presence.
- Check your admissions status: This status will reflect information we have in our records. You will be able to learn of your admissions decision as soon as it is made without having to wait for an official email or admissions letter.
